This week has seen two coaches sidelined.
Coach Jermaine, who leads our U12 Blues, felt a sharp pain in his calf during training. Despite the discomfort, he pushed through the session and later discovered at the hospital that he had torn his gastrocnemius. However, this setback won't deter him as he continues to support the team in his own remarkable way.
Meanwhile, Coach Joe, who oversees our U14 Reds, faced an unfortunate incident just two minutes into his training session. He stepped in to fill the gap and took on the role of goalkeeper, but sadly found himself on the receiving end of a powerful shot. Did the session stop? Absolutely not.. You could say he was channeling his inner Alisson Becker!
Both coaches may be out for now, but they’re not down for the count.
From all of us at the club, we wish them a speedy recovery..
